A Playground Upgrade at Cohen Park, Annandale!

In a quiet residential pocket of Annandale, tucked alongside Whites Creek, is Cohen Park, where Inner West Council has just installed a brand-spanking-new playground! In fact, the playground is so new, it’s being launched this Saturday 26 May 2018 from 11 am to 2 pm with a FREE BARBECUE AND REFRESHMENTS!

Located on Railway Parade, Cohen Park Playground features a new inclusive shark and dolphin see-saw, a new dolphin double rocker, a brightly coloured refurbished cubby house with slide, a triple swing set including an inclusive nest-style swing and a more challenging play structure for older children for climbing and sliding. The playground has a synthetic grass surface and large shade cloths provide sun protection. Other amenities include two benches, a wide table-style bench, a bubbler and bike racks.

The playground is not fenced, but a railing does run between the playground and Railway Parade. Another fence separates Cohen Park from Whites Creek.
Toilet facilities are located at the southern end of the park near the tennis courts. (For anyone interested in a hit, the tennis court hours of use are 7 am–9 pm. No booking or payment is required although there is a one-hour limit if other players are waiting.)
There is ample street parking. The closest light rail stop is Rozelle Bay.
For takeaway or sit-down coffee and yummy food, Revolver Cafe is located just up the hill at 291 Annandale Street. And if you feel like park-hopping, a small fully fenced playground nearby at Gray Street Reserve on Annandale Street (metres from Revolver).
Location: Railway Parade, Annandale
