Primary Objective- Reporting to our Marketing and PR Director you will support the brand strategy and assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns to drive acquisition and strengthen retention across all brands including Modibodi, RED and our third brand launching October 2019.
*Support the development of annual marketing strategy & activity calendar, as well as deliver marketing activities aligned to Marketing Calendar within the given budget and on time
*Support to deliver communications in line with the brand strategies
*Champion our Customer Ambassador program together with the E-Commerce and Social Media Manager to drive engagement, positive brand sentiment and repeat purchase
*Be the custodian for our Social Impact and Cause Related Marketing activities
*Work with the Marketing Director to drive brand & affiliate partnerships in key growth markets
*Support in the creation of all print and digital collateral across all brands
*Champion our outreach programs for all brands in particular Schools, Education and Social Enterprise partners and Health based professionals.
*Event and sponsorship negotiation, management and execution in line with the directive provided
*Assist in the delivery of all influencer seeding, product samples and promotional PR activities.
*Assist in the formulation of strategies to build lasting offline/ online connections with consumers
*Research and report on global competitors
*Produce and analyse quarterly Customer surveys, compile reports on overall customer satisfaction and consumer behaviour
*Work with the Marketing Director to manage external agencies including global PR agencies, AI and Paid/Digital agencies both off and online.
*Analyse, review and report on the effectiveness of campaigns for all brands
*Acquire insight into online marketing trends and work to keep strategies up to date
*Manage our wholesale markets and ensure distributors are always operating accordingly
*Champion internal communications between departmental teams
*Work closely with the Social Media Producer, E-commerce Manager and Marketing & PR Director on the creative development and execution of marketing campaigns and other exciting initiatives
*Support the evolving needs of the Marketing team as required
Qualifications & Competencies Required
Skills & Experience
Tertiary Background/Education in marketing or communications
Min 5 years previous experience in a Marketing & Communications role within an e-commerce business is preferred
Practical and demonstrable work experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail – in written and spoken English
Excellent outlook, powerpoint, excel and word skills
Knowledge and experience of digital marketing concepts and best practices
Practical knowledge of Google Analytics, CRMS, Survey software and web platforms such as shopify.
A background in online marketing (AdWords, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, SEO) is a strong plus.
Punctual, self-motivated, strong organisational and problem-solving skills desired
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time efficiently
Passion for consumer relations, events and marketing
The ability to adapt to ever-changing strategies, visions and workloads
