We are looking for a mature and experienced office administration assistant to join us at Cominos Family Lawyers.
The position is part time, two days a week on Tuesday and Wednesday from 8.30am-5pm, however these hours are negotiable.
You will be required to perform the following duties:
Prepare files for the lawyers
Maintain order and tidiness in the office
Check court portal to review upcoming court events and to obtain court documents
Manage all accounts; includes invoicing and chasing of unpaid accounts
Prepare meeting for staff each week
Order stationary and office supplies
Answer initial enquiries together with existing clients
Book client appointments and manage staff calendars
Arrange for general maintenance and tidy of the office
You will need to possess the following skills/experience:
Competent at using all Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience in invoicing and accounts receivable/payable
Able to work quickly and efficiency and have the ability to manage high work load
Exceptional phone mannerisms
Good writing skills and email skills
At least 3-5 years’ experience in a medium sized office.
You do not need to have experience in a law firm, however you will need to have exceptional office administration skills and have previously worked in a similar office environment.
