Job Type: Part Time

Stuart Alexander, marketers, distributors and importers of premium FMCG brands, is currently seeking a Part time Accounts Payable Assistant (3 days per week) to join our Finance Team. The key focus of this role is to assist to perform accounts payable and to support the Team with reporting and ad hoc tasks.

Reporting to Assist Accounts Payable Supervisor the key responsibilities include:

Upload of Invoices electronically
Maintaining correct coding and approval of Invoices electronically.
Process weekly EFT Payments.
Accounts Payable Master file supplier maintenance.
Process debits (bank charges, periodical payments, overseas payments etc).
Stock invoices – Purchase Order matching input & coding.
Reconciliation of Local & Foreign currency supplier statements.
End of Month procedures & reconciliations
Assist Accounts Payable Supervisor and Finance team as required.
Monthly Reporting
Continuous Improvement Projects

We are looking for a flexible and vibrant Assistant that possesses the following:

Proven understanding of Accounts Payable functions
Excellent customer service skills with strong communication skills
Ability to solve problems
Strong Word/ Excel skills with attention to detail
