Building and managing HR functions and processes– look to implement/manage all HR functions and procedures including performance review and management framework, the review and update of necessary contracts or policies, employee training etc.
Manage recruitment for the organisation
Work with Management, Finance and the Business Manager to manage payroll changes, leave approvals, leave calendar etc.
Assist CFO with preparation of fortnightly payroll
Continuously review guidelines, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant statutes, law and best practice including but not limited to SafeWork NSW
Manage monthly Lunch & Learns
Processing any variations to employment and other documents as required.
Manage and attend weekly recruitment update meetings
Attend monthly management meetings and provide HR/Recruitment updates
Run and monitor 6-monthly employee survey
Ad-hoc projects and research
Any other duty/responsibility or task as directed
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years HR experience
Relevant tertiary qualifications
Have proven exposure within an HR environment, have worked closely with an HR team and have a desire to shape and manage the HR function.
Strong experience in preparation of payroll
Proven record of reducing recruitment costs/making savings
A results driven and hands-on attitude
Detail oriented with exceptional organisation and task management skills
Someone that is always thinking outside of the box to be able to solve issues and of the most efficient way to approach tasks and automate processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise and balance several tasks to ensure deadlines are met with demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at one time
Highly motivated, with a proactive and mature approach.

Deal with clients, suppliers and other employees professionally at all times
