Are you an experienced events manager interested in supporting a small children's cancer charity based in Crows Nest? We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and professional events manager for 8 to 12 hours a week to support and develop our existing and new events. One to two mornings a week would be worked from our office and other hours from home. Additional hours would be worked closer to events.
The ideal candidate would have at least two years experience in events management, being responsible for organising all the details and logistics of public events, such as, fun runs or sporting events, gala dinners or golf days. The candidate would be skilled at project management and have strong communication and organisational skills. The candidate would also ideally have marketing experience and be familiar with facebook advertising, instagram and customer databases. Finally, sales experience and the ability to promote and negotiate sponsorships would be advantageous.
This is a 6 month contract but would be extended depending on results.
Pay would be $35 to $40 depending on experience excluding Super.
As the charity is a registered charity operating in the area of health, there may be a further tax benefit.
