This Christmas, Market City, in the heart of Sydney’s Chinatown, is inviting shoppers and gaming enthusiasts to step into an exciting virtual reality winter wonderland.
From 23 November, visitors will be able to participate in a custom-built, free virtual reality (VR) gaming experience, with up to $30,000 in prizes on offer.
Candy Cane Fight VR, located on the first floor of Market City, is a three-minute immersive VR gaming experience designed for ages eight and upwards. Four people can play the game simultaneously daily between 11.30 am and 5.30 pm from 23 November until 26 December.
Using the VIVE Pro professional headset with built-in headphones, gamers enter a rich VR winter wonderland, where Frosty the Snowman’s younger brother, Grumpy, is attempting to destroy Christmas. Gamers must try to defeat the 10-foot snowman across a series of levels to save the holiday season.
